1973 Corvette Outlaw Exist?

That salvage title would scare me away at that price. I may know of another 73 for sale for the same price in Jax. It is orange with black interior L48 auto. PM me your email and i'll send you some pics. I'll have to make some phone calls to make sure its still for sale.

Yes, that's a state-issued salvage title. I was looking for something stock/factory on the engine pic and aside from the fan shroud didn't see much. :ugh With that type of title and the total amount of mods done to the car, you'd have a tough time selling it down the road. The seller might be having a tough time now.
Yep, I agree with above.
Well, there's the Outlaw mystery solved. It's an Outlaw alright, outlawed from the road by law until salvaged title was issued. :L
Personally, I'd pass on that one. :w

There are too many cars out there to have to settle for a puzzle.$15,000 and a salvage title?

A salvage title doesn't necessarily trash the value of a classic driver, so if it was put back together properly just get what you want. I've purchased a number of California Salvage Title cars, none of which had a sticker in place of the VIN where you could see it. The only stickers I've seen are silver and are located in the drivers side jamb, but those were BAR stickers on Grey market cars or on a replcement VIN called a California Blue Plate.

I'll bite on the possibility of the Outlaw thing since custom shops are and were all over California. That name is ringing a bell for me, but that doesn't mean alot.

These cars are old and a lot can happen to them over the yrs, but no way would I buy that one. Too many nice cars are available for that money. 68-72 cars are a lot harder to find for 15k but you sure can get some deals on the later models. Another great buy at the B-J auction was a custom 76 coupe. 40 1st place trophies from big time car shows like world of wheels, it sold for 16k.
