What is the trick in removing the hard plastic shroud/covering from the shoulder harnress latch? Needing to take my seats out I can't seem to remove that piece that would then allow the shoulder harness itself to be threaded out of the seat back notch.

Mikey: Thanks. I suspected this was the way to go. So, this works? You have done this?
Easier way is to take the metal frame that the belt is routed through from off the back of the seat (2 screws) and push the belt (plastic and all) through the hole. I have done this on my '73.

Thanks, "Herminator"! Easier is better so I will try this path of least resistance especially if you have had first hand success with this method.
