1978 bumper pad color

Does anyone know the correct color for the little pads that stick out from the 78 front and rear bumpers? I know they are black but is it Gloss, Semi, Flat or what? All I can find in my assembly manual is to leave the paint off. Thanks

Thanks guys. I don't think there are 3 cars out there with the same pads colors. Mine ended up yesterday with gloss black paint.

I get to pick it up from the paint shop today and spend two weeks putting it back together.

Nooo,actually its a semi gloss black.Its supposed to simulate rubber.Thats what was original but each to his own.
