1978 facts

Please help, my Corvette books are in storage!

I am volunteering at a classic car show this Sat, and I have been offered a gratis spot in the show for the 78!

I like to post a fact sheet in her window with information, but all of my things are in storage!
Here are the things I need to know:
Total production numbers for 1978
Correction if 6,502 Pace Cars is incorrect
Number of Silver Anniversary editions (around 12k, I think)
The base price for the 78 coupe, Pace Car and Silver Anniversary models (the SA was a $399 option above the coupe price, with special paint scheme, alum wheels and sport mirrors)
Specs on the L48 and L82 (these were the only 2 engines offered, right?)

I think thats it...but if you have anymore interesting 1978 trivia, include that, too!

I was also interested to find how many L82 and L48 engines were produced!

When the vehicle was fitted with optional 255/60-15 tires the fenderwells were hand trimmed at the factory.

Hope this impresses the crowds.
