1978 Pace Car Vehicle History

I am a new member and want to know if anyone knows how to trace the vehicle history on a 1978 Pace Car. Car Facts won't work if the vehicle is older than 1981. Any ideas!!

Unfortunatley the service aint for free anymore. I just got mine for my 88 and mentioned this to memebers in my Vette club. Effective on any orders after 3/1/05 there is a 50 buck fee involved..still aint bad. Peggy is no longer doing them...You can e-mail her and she will forward you a form to fill out with credit card info. Just wanted to update you all on this!!!
