Looking for info on factory wheels for 1978 corvette. My car has rally style wheels and I was told by a potential buyer they were not original. Can anyone tell me if rally wheels were standard in 1978? Thanks for help.

Rally wheels were standard equipment, 12,266 cars built in 1978 model year had them. Optional aluminum wheels RPO YJ8 cost $340.
Aluminum wheels were never standard on any C3 Corvette.

FWIW: rally wheels were standard throughout C3 production. After they became available, aluminum wheels were optional and cost you extra.
