1979 corvette door jam

i have a 1979 vette, and in my door jam i have what seems to be a rare part. it is supposedly called a rain water diverter. they are 2 or 3 inches across and are molded to the bottom of the door jam. anyone know where i can get these or exactly what they are called? thanks, greg

thanks again, got the site. still cant find the part. it it at the bottom corner when you open the door, triangular in shape, wrapping itself around the the door frame. don't know what it's called, a guy on e-bay says rain water diverter

Door sill water diverters. Look in the interior section. Or just put in these numbers

It is a water diverter and it's a stock part. Supposed to keep water off the carpets behind the seats.

I'm not sure when they began to be used. They are not on my '68, but are on my '80. I'll check my guides tonight and see when the diverters were first used.

I actually don't have a problem-proof tested on the way to Cruisefest 2007. Heavy rains coming into Memphis and no dramas. Very slight weepage through the T-tops, but it was a pouring, heavy rain, so I'm not complaining.
