I've been very busy with the http://www.finnshark.com and now that it's finished I'll try to update the 79 registry asap, will try to get a small 79 forum there too, just for us 79 owners, for specific 79 questions and tips!

How are the Sharks swimming in Finland these days:confused Nice to see they swim in International waters. When did you find yours,Jay? I was thinking the name of your new site would also sound good as SharkFinn...:D

The Sharks are doing great here, every single one is well maintained, no dodgy basket case sharks around here :D . I bought my first one (the 79) 14 years ago, it's one Shark that's been swimming across the pond more than you might think. It was first shipped to a American guy who was serving in the US military base in Germany, this was back in 79. Then he had the car shipped back to Florida and from Florida a old Finnish couple bought the car and shipped it to Finland and I bought it from them!!! So it's been going back and forth quite alot:)

The 75 I bought just last summer, now I'm looking to buy a mid year coupe, we'll see...:beer

Thats great! At least the shipping didnt put many miles on it.I was born in Florida.I have been all over Europe, and in Asia. From what I've been seeing, you've changed a few things on the '79,anyway.I just got my '79,as a result of having my '77 destroyed, while I was in it.What year mid-year coupe you looking at? I've only been a corvette owner about 3 yrs. What do you,in Finland, etc.,think of the C6?

The 79 is now a brand new car, nothing was left untouched. I rides more like my friend track prepped C4, than an old Vette. I'm looking for a 65 at the moment. I also called about a 63 vert, so there's definately a mid year on the way! I think most people were bit disapointed about the pretty lame looking C6, but still it's a Vette and it will be a good car overall, so I'm sure few people end up buying one, however I'm not one of them... ;)

Do you attend alot of shows? Do you take it to the drags? I've entered a couple of smaller shows since i got the 79,but it needs a new paint job,& I'm adding some engine mods soon.
