I turn my interior lights on and my gauges all quit working turn interior lights back off gauges work. Also if I pull out taillight fuse interior lights do not work at all. I guess I have a bad ground? Any suggestions on where to start. or can anyone recommend good manual to answer questions I bought a Haynes restoration not much help for me

Sounds like more than a ground. I would pick up a Corvette shop manual for the specific year so you can trace out the circuits. E-Bay has them all the time for a great price. Best of luck hunting it down.

You really need a wiring diagram for this one, and Carlo (C4Ever) has the right idea.

I can tell you that when I got my car, the center dash lights didn't work, and I found a fried circuit board. The lighting and power for the center gauges all work from this board, and it's possible that is where your trouble is.

You might want to pull out the center cluster and take a look at the circuit card. The card however may only be a simptom in a larger problem.

Good luck,
Steve :w
