Got the new module but still no luck, hope someone can help me on this.

Base line:
1982 Corvette (81 and 82 have the same system and wiring)
Alarm doesn't work
Voltage on battery 12.5v
All circuits seem to operate correct. ie

Ground circuit, light blue circuit 263, is open with doors closed and roof tops latched.

When the courtesy lights timer times out and the lights go out the 263 circuit closes as if to indicate a door or top was opened. So obviously any door or top opened to simulate a break in doesn't set off the alarm.

Has anyone else every had this problem? sic????? Anyone able to check a good system to see if this is what happens even though I can't believe it would since it would have to complete the circuit to set off the alarm.

Any other input is gratefully accepted.

just a shot in the dark.
is the alarm horn working?

Yes they work.
There are three other switches that could be causing your problem: hood switch and the two anti-tamper door cylinder switches. I'd eliminate them one at a time until the ground is no longer there.
Good luck!
