WHat is the advantages / disadvantages of the single Mono-leaf VS the 8-leaf suspension ???

Basiclly lighter weight and quicker response. The composite springs are so good they are the only spring the vette has used since the early 80s.

The 82 Gymkhana spring is a steel 9 leaf 2.5 inches wide and the standard spring is the composite.

If you go with the composite spring, you have to make sure you also get the correct shocks to go with this spring or you may have to deal with a bouncing rear end.
