1982 Silver-Green NCRS Top Flight for Sale

I'm selling both my 82's. $20k obo for this one. Many of you know my 82's and know that if you want a number 1 condition 1982 Corvette, I have 2 of them. I only want to sell to move into another interest.

This one is quite rare:

One of only 723 silver-green 1982 Corvettes. One of only a handfull with the charcoal interior, loaded with almost every option available. This car is not only factory correct, it's factory original - paint, interior, etc.. Only 37,000 miles.

Celebrity Pick - Corvettes at Carlisle 2003.
NCRS Regional Top Filght - St. Louis 2003.
1st place local Vette show (1980-1982) 2003.

I have the original tires and wheels for this car which are included along with all awards/trophies.

This is not a garage queen, however, it is stored in a heated area at my home. I have driven this car 9k miles this year - Atlanta, St. Louis, Carlisle, Pa just to name a few trips. A true pleasure to drive.

A few pictures. The lighting could have been better:

82,

You are selling both '82's for $20K? Does that mean $10K for each vehicle? What is your NEW interest?

Sully
Atlanta, GA

Hi Sully!

I edited my posts. $20k for the silver-green and I'm asking $21900 for the black one since it's a Bowtie car.
My new interest - a C5 :D.

:w
Guy

Are your sure you want to do this? '82s as nice as yours don't come along every day. But then I can understand your desire for a C5 too. I was hoping to see the green car at Cruise-Fest though. Whatever you drive out here in May I know it will be nice.

I hope they go to good homes.

Tom

got'cha ;)

Sure do like that Black '82-- However, I'm with you- I have decided
on a slightly used '04 say in a couple of years-- But when I saw that pic of the '05, I may be change my whole strategy.

Best of Luck... let me know if you'll be in Atlanta anytime- we all can have a reunion--- hopefully Nut will cook again!

See ya

Sully

Guy,

You already know how I feel about getting rid of both your beauties!!!

Elaine

Guy,

You and I just have terrible timing. I sold my 71 too soon for you to consider it, and now you're selling the 82's 17 months too early for me to get back into the Corvette ownership game:cry. I would love to take the Silver-Green off of your hands but the calendar says otherwise.

Outstanding 82

Folks,

This car is absolutely beautiful. Last year when Guy and I went to Carlisle I followed the car for 435 miles. It looks great, an runs like a top. At Carlisle I parked my C5 next to Guy's 82 and to my dismay everyone wanted to talk about his silvergreen. I't's a terrific vehicle and as I now know, it's a real "head turner".

Remo :cool

:cry
Good luck Guy!

I've seen the SG in person, and who ever can take this baby home has my envy.. It's a BEAUT !!

One Or THE Other

NOT BOTH!!!:( :nono I know both of these cars and I know what a C5 does to you but get a grip. My $.02, sell the SG, keep your first love, you'll make due with the $$$. No disrespect or flaming here, but a C5 is just that, then you personalize it, no matter how radical or how stock. I know you, and I reiterate (sp. chk.), one or the other, NOT BOTH!!!

Well ya never know.

I might sell one and get a used C5 (anyone want to trade :D ).
I might sell both and get a new C5.
or
A C1/2 comes along that takes my breath away :) .
or
Neither sells and I'll just continue on those 2500 mile weekends to Len's.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

:wGuy

That's My Boy

Just a couple of options eh? Do I have to call you? I have your number, remember? And I met YOUR lovely bride. Need I say more? Seriously, I can understand a big desire to get a C5, but to sell your first born............NOT!!! If my memeory serves me right, when you bouhgt the SG 82 you had options, but you grabbed it, and NOTHING wrong with that. I honestly believe, if you sold BOTH for a C5, you'd NEVER forgive yourself. Just my take on you and getting to know you the way I have. And you think you'd be happy to sell both for a C1/2? I don't think so Bro.

I can't agree with Rowdy more!!!! Not both!!! One, ok...but don't make the supreme mistake, Guy!!!

Elaine

Hey Len...... you almost DID have $20K lying around. Send the bike, bar and pool table away and you're there. (Keep the hot tub for the obvious reasons). :D Make it your first family car purchase. I'll bet Guy and I will drive it down and personally deliver it to you two.

Now I have the bug too. I just have one problem. Yeah...... that's right.

Elaine: I too can't believe he's selling them both. I'm also surprised that he hasn't figured out a way for "Maid in The Shade" to pay for that new C5. Sweet business write off. He needs a new accountant.

Sully: I'll always work the tongs when I'm in town (or invited down).

Maid in the Shade IS busy, but not that busy (yet).
The CAC Travel Team can deliver ;LOL. I told Tammy I was having a 2 for 1 sale ;).

Nut:

Then if I can count on you- "Emeril"... BAM! to cook, how about all that fiberglass in my Marietta driveway for another cook-out?

Who says cook-outs are for Summer anyway?

What say you?

The C5 Bug

Guy, Nut,

Think of all the fun you'll have once you become a C5 owner. People will start to accuse you of being snutty and not waving. You'll at some point be considered not a "true" Corvette person but just someone who wanted to drive a "trendy" car. WOW! doesn't that sound like fun?

Remo :cool

P.S. - when and if you get one I'll teach you the secret C5 only wave and handshake.

Len: I don't think my riding it up and down the block for a half an hour killed the price THAT much. :D There's got to be some upscale, rich little twerp up in Buckhead that needs a new Christmas toy. ...... and I'll bet Tammy knows the "secret handshake". Hahahahaha

sulley: I cooked Salmon fillet's on the grill (in the cold and in the dark) Sunday night. And BBQ's are good any time. Say the word.

Remo: At least "I" won't be selling my C3 to upgrade.

........... Nut

Since I have seen the S-G up close and personal :) it's a fantastic Corvette. Who ever buys this will have a special car.
Good Luck on what path you take.
