They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Aren't Beholders evil creatures?

You gotta admit someone did a good job on the conversion. With a tonneau cover it would look like one of those roadster kits. If you just gotta have a pickup, well..........

I can't believe I'm saying this , but I think it's kinda neat . And it does look like they did a really good job . Normally I hate this sort of thing . Cliff

Ack! It's an El Cormino!

Surprised nobody made that reference yet. Or maybe they just refrained from posting it.

I like it, myself. What the Chevy SSR *should* have been - imagine a C6-based pickup. "Trucks were meant to haul things. This one hauls @$$."

Of course, on my first Vette model as a kid, I added the optional Greenwood kit that made it look like a small station wagon.

I have to cast my vote in favor. From what I can see a lot of work and thought were put into it. I like it.

On the one hand, it's possible to appreciate the work that went into it, but on the other hand why do that to a Corvette. It looks ridiculous.

If they used a wrecked vette for the conversion it isn't so bad, but if they took a perfectly good vette and did that to it I would call it a WASTE !

:w

I vote Aye. Very tasteful and not too gaudy with a radical design yet conservative with the colors.
Whatever your opinion, you gotta' agree. Someone did a bunch of good planning and, from the pictures at least, excellent workmanship.

Put a trailer hitch on that thing, hook up a trailer with Corvette Showcar on it, kind of makes me feel better about the trailering the showcar to Carlisle. :)

I agree, they did a good job at the work, and am surprised nobody has commented on using a "real" ZR-1 bumper.

Looks better than any of those c5 body kits.

Man, this site's the best! You guys are so cool; no one has to be told to "take it easy" (yet). :CAC

There's ken , it wouldnt be the same with out his comment:D .....I'm going join the ranks of the truly bold and say i like it , in a weird way. They did a heck of job. if it would have been done to a c1 it would have been better than the SSR.:upthumbs
