Who said that Cross Fire Injection cannot work?:chuckle:chuckle

1.air pump has been removed.
2.alternator has been repositioned where air pump used to be.later model
3.relocated power steering by adding an 87 style power steering.

4.Intake mods:
modified the swirl plates to make them a bit more free-flowing.
Because of the wet flow the throtte bodies and the throttle shafts have to be modified. This is to let engine vaccum suck the fuel down into the manifold instead of the boot blowing fuel out path the throttle shaft

5.oil from pan to supercharger mods:
T fitting where the oil temp sensor was above the oil filter. The oil return from the supercharger drains back into the oil paner:

6.air filter/dump valve:
K&N air filter and a dump valve. The air filter was a tight fit so moved it back / up later with a aluminum pipe.

7.Air box mod: new cleaner

8. new badge required for air cleaner

What I dont understand is why doesnt someone just add a turbo using SLS's rear mounted units? I cant find their website but have seen their stuff on TV. Stacey David on Gearz did this with a newer vette that was given away in a promotion.
The system is cool in that 2 turbos mount in the rear facia and are easily piped to exhaust and intake. An intercooler is mounted in front of radiator. Seems simple enough but I've not seen it done on a c4.;shrug

STS with Rapter made a rear mount turbo for the c4's.
But seriously, rear mount is more of cosmetic than anything else.
Turbos can go bad, and if need to replace, the rear mount require far more labour.
Their gain for all that headache? Nothing.
Callaway did some real sharp engineering on the twin turbos. They are mounted under the headers and the intercoolers are mounted on top.

I prefer the Turbo to be mounted in the following way.
1. under hood or under headers
2.to service turbo, easily removable
3.not interfereing other motor componenets which require frequent svc,
(i.e. oil change, starter replacement, battery, changing pulleys or belts.)
4. most importantly a brand such as HKS, Garrets, Turbonetics
5. if using NOS (like me :w), better NOT heat near the rear
