1984 rear Y pipe inlet size

Does a member know the size of the inlet for the 1984 rear y pipe? If so, what size inlet would be needed for the mufflers?

I need to do a little homework before repalcing the rear Y pipe and mufflers on my 84.

I'm pretty sure the stock muffler inlet size is 2 1/4 although I think some aftermarket performance Y pipes are 2 1/2.

Stock and aftermarket mufflers are 2.5 inch. The rear Y-pipe is 2.25 inch
