Has anyone changed rear wheel bearings on a C4. Is a puller required to get the bearings off the?

There's a good article in December Vette Mag. It addresses R7R of the hub/bearing.

No puller, 3 torx bolts and the axle nut.
remove and install new hub.
reattach bolts and wheel, all done.

Thanks for the info. My wife just threw out that issue. But I have the shop manual. I tried to remove the Torx bolts last Sunday the book said use #45 torx. Its not big enough, I tried #50 that fit but I could not losen the bolts. I think I'll take it to Pep Boys for 465.00 they will do the job, the parts only cost about 240.00 for both hubs.

Thanks for all the help guys. Just replaced them last weekend, what pain to get those torx bolts out, but they finally came out. The old bearings had come apart, its a good thing I changed them. The car is 100% now.

Glad to hear you got it fixed...

...but two things jump right out at me here from your previous post:

How could you allow her to do such a thing? The ink wasn't even dry! :L
