my 86 engine is stock,I would like to install a 52 or 58mm throttle body and it was suggested to change injectors to 24lb, first do I need to change them from stock 22lb and second if I change them do I need to change or recalibrate stock maf ?? :bash

Except for TB, is the engine stock?
If it is stock, stock injectors are fine.
Someone with a 86 will have to answer the MAF question.

Unless you are modifying the intake and heads, throwing in more air will do nothing, may give you a little top end, that's all. Stock TB gives the engine plenty of air, have you modified the airbox to let more air in or put a cold air system on?

You'll gain no performance with those two modifcations and, with the big TB, you may actually loose low-end performance and experience degraded driveabilty at low speeds.

In general, when you change the injectors, and they are not the same rating as the stock ones, you need to change the PROM injector constant. This would apply, let say on a stock engine, and all you were doing was an injector swap.
