I dont think they will fit since then I think they upgraded the brakes. I am not sure they will clear the rotors/calipers. But I like the sawblade rims a lot more then mine.
1984 thru 1987 wheels have a 38mm offset while the 88 and later cars have a 56mm offset. This would result in the older wheel sticking out about 3/4" and you could have issues with the front tire rubbing on the inside of the wheel well at full lock. With the tire out that distance at the top of the wheelwell, the tire could hit the fiberglass if the suspension would be compressed like from a bump in the road.
If the specific 86 wheels are made by Enkei (it will say on the inside of the wheel) they may clear the calipers if the 91 has the standard 12" rotors. Some minor grinding of the top of the caliper housing may be needed. Wheels made by another company will probably not clear at all.
If the 91 has the optional 13" front rotors (RPO J55), the wheels will not clear the caliper.
put her up on jack stands for a couple of days, alot cheaper then wheel spacers. only reason your vette has bigger brake rotors then us earlier year C4's.
