Car is located at the same place as before Showroom Auto Sales San Jose, California

This poor example of a callaway needs to be saved I love the exterior color matches my ZR-1 and the interior is a very easy fix.

Its all the callaway stuff Im clueless about

Is there anyone close by that could look at it for me? give me the low down maybe take it out for a drive before and give me a true feel for what this car needs to be a starter callaway Before I get too excited about the car?

I know nothing about Calloway's and very little about C4s, but it's right around the corner from me and I'd be happy to swing by and take a look (as well as some notes) for you.

We can even hook up by cell phone while I'm there. . . I can take instruction fairly well even if my wife doesn't think so. ;)

I had talked to the guy over there about buying the car just last week. The price is right for sure... it is the cheapest Callaway TT I have ever seen. My wife had a change of heart though, so I guess I'll have to wait for another one to pop up for sale down the road.

I asked last week if anyone had seen the car, and no one responded. I had really hoped the same thing as you are... that someone had seen the car already and could explain the condition but no such luck.

Either way, it sounds like a really good deal, so Good Luck

He will sell it for $15k...

I was asked by a member here to not post the price, but plenty of time has passed for that member to buy it. I hope some CAC member buys the car because I want to see it return to all its glory... I REALLY want it, but the wife will kill me, so until next time:)

First im not trying to be stupid in anyway but it may sound this way because its on the internet

But I guess we all know who wears the pants in your house :D

I guess you can lay down that kind of cash without someone looking at it Ive been burned in the past and I wont do it again without someone who Knows what they are talking about looks the car over.

But the price tag is very nice for what you are getting as long as the callaway stuff isnt all torn up, Like it was said in the other thread on this car that one intercooler looks like it was pried on and it does

There must be a pretty darn good reason its down to $15,000 and it could be becasue no one wants the darn thing so there must be a reason no one wants it and it can be because of the mileage hell thats low miles for a car of the Model Year and its a car someone enjoyed, I may be acting a little to cautious and tha might make me miss the buy but thats ok Id rather miss the deal that loose my money.

but since I cant find any callaway knowlageble members who are in the area Im not going to send them $15,000 without the car being checked out.

I dont have the knowlage about the callaway stuff to even begin to know if its good or not. I can just up and fly out there to look at it myself.

Im still looking for someone in the area that could go and look at this car and give me a honest impression of it.
Id also like that someone to take it for a test drive and give feedback?

Phrogs (Johnny) did you see the white B2K on eBay that I posted. He also had this to say, (Callaway Twin Turbo #148 of 184 ( 120 were coupes ) Rpo B2K package, Very Rear Dymagnesium wheels, Red leather, 5.7 Twin Turbo, 4sp. w/overdrive, Car has "New paint, tires, trans rebuilt.) Please don't flame me on the spelling that is the way it was listed. Wish I could help more

it would be a different story if I didn't just drop 5 grand on a new TV and a Corvette that she says is "newer, less miles, and in better condition". I don't think my explaination of torque got through to her:confused ;LOL

in any regard, i think it is probably worth a day and a plane ticket out there for a test drive. :lou

no, but it is still for sale... showroom contacted me about it 2 days ago. I am starting to think your method (the one that involves sleeping on a sofa) is a good idea:D

Good luck w/ the purchase!
