Well, you callaway owners are creating a market for these wheels and cars. You gonna push me out of the price range I could afford and will never be able to own one. Then I'll have to buy a ZR1.
:L

Steve - buy now :D Seriously, I know of some cars in the mid - low 20's that would be sweet driving machines :cool

One member just picked up a nice 87 w/ low miles for what I think is a deal :v

Keep the faith :m

89x2,
Well, I just payed off some more credit cards. Sears $3,000 and Walmart $1,800. I have the boat to pay off ( a few thousand ), then my car. Then I'll be ready.

...with a boat, there are only two happy days - the day you bought it & the day you sell it, hurry up and make that 2nd day happen then you can move on to Callaway grins :D

Enjoy :m

...Looks like someone has placed a bid, but with two auctions, which one is the real deal :confused

I talked to the guy today and he says he has a offer of $9,000 for both cars, he said he would contact me if the deal fell through.

I think he's blowing smoke about the $9K offer but who knows. Both of his auctions ended with bids of $5500 which didn't make reserve. Truthfully I can't believe anyone bid on them! Could be bogus bids too. What would he have done if both met reserve? :eyerole My advice to anyone here is stay as far away from this deal as possible.

Anybody wind up grabbing this car after the auction ended??
I tried but he told me he had that offer of 9K and that they were comming to pick them both up the 87 and the 91 this monday.

I havent heard anything back from the guy oh well if he doesnt call me on monday this car is sold as far as I am concerned, he has my number and can call anytime.

Does anyone know what happend to the 87 that had the engine fire, that car I know I could fix!

I never heard from the guy who originaly posted and I have emailed him many times like a stalker if you will about that callaway and I never heard back from him after his initial corospondance.
