1989 cam specs ?

can any one tell me what the factory cam specs are on a 98 convertible -240 hp ?? thanks
 
I think he wants specs on an 89 with a L98 engine. ???
 
oops sorry about the typo. it is an 1989 with L-98 engine. i was told it was different than the 1987. thanks
 
The 90 is very likely the same as the 89.
this from my 90 Helms manual
lift
Intake 0.2750 + - .002
Exhaust 0.2856 +- .002
Journal Diameter 1.8682 - 1.8692

no duration and timing is given.

if ya would of read down a few lines you would of seen the same question asked about an 87 camshaft.

I do not believe the cam specs are identical throughout the TPI build.

If I recall, Car Craft listed all the specs, w/ the 1989 cams being the "most aggressive" of the tuned port cams...

Wish I knew where that chart was...
 
GM used a different cam in 88-89 than 87 Cam was again changed in 1990 when motor went to speed density. According to 3rd Gen site specs for 88-89 cam are 207/213 Duration at .05 .415/.430 @1.5 lift and .443/.459 @1.6 lift listed. Lobe seperation listed at 117degree Part number for cam from 3rd Gen site matches my GM Y-body parts book. Hope this helps. :upthumbs
