Hello everyone, hope you're doing well. I have a 1992 Corvette (LT1) that started making a ticking noise a few days ago. I went ahead and changed the oil, which was clean, but it did not help the noise. Below I attached 2 videos of the noise, both at 190 F. In the first video, the noise is very audible from outside of the car. The second video I attempted to film the noise from inside the car, as from the inside it sounds more like a clanking or thumping noise. It is not very audible over my exhaust, but you can hear it the most in the video in second gear.

First video, outside of car

Second Video, inside car (recommend high volume)

Right now, I plan on doing another oil change to inspect the oil and oil filter for metal shavings. I also saw on an old thread that someone recommended using a half quart of ATF mixed into my oil for 100 miles to flush the system, then change oil again. What are yalls thoughts on this? Any suggestions/guidance would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Welcome to the CAC.
That first video sounds very much like a loose rocker arm. If you have a piece of hose or even a broom tick, put it to your ear and run the other end along the valve covers to determine which side it's on. It should be very audible. Next step would be to remove that valve cover and look for the loose rocker. It could be a bad lifter, bent push rod, loose rocker stud or even a bad rocker arm. On the more extreme side, there might be a bad lobe on the camshaft. You might get lucky and just the adjustment nut came loose.
