My '97 is with a local dealership service that I really trust. They have treated me very well for the past 4 years. They are telling me that my Secondary Air Pump has failed and requires replacement. Unfortunately, the part is no longer carried, and they have been unable to locate one anywhere. I thought I would try, and have found the same thing. For example, Advanced Auto has the part on their website, but it's out of stock with no time line given for more inventory. Has anyone else run into this? I've checked at least a dozen auto parts retailers and the AC Delco website. I can't find one anywhere. I'm looking for suggestions at this point. I'd like to keep the car all GM if possible.
