Help! 1999 6speed rear end squeal

I just bought a 1999 convertible with 30,000 miles. The problem i have is a squeal noise coming from the rear end. It happens at 1300 rpm and fades off as I give the car gas. Sounds exactly like a squealing belt but is coming from the rear. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Im not sure what trans. The car is a 99 and manufactured in November of 98 with a six speed manual. The noise almost mirrors the sound of a squealing serpentine belt with a different tone as rpm increases but only makes the sound 1300 to 1900 rpm. I will try and record the sound and post... No aftermarket parts that I know of. All stock...
