New to this site but from what I can see looks like it will be a great tool for me and my recent purchase. My question is on my A/C system the blower is sending air from the vents, defroster and the floor at the same time. Should I look at vacuum leaks first or is this a common problem with a repair I need to look at? James

Check for codes first. Sounds like the vent doors are not working as they should, they are vacuum activated. Most common reason would be pinched, cracked, loose, or nor connected. Your error code will tell you if the doors are working. You will also want to check the drain pipe for the AC. It is a small 1/4 in elbow sticking out of the firewall pointing down on the passenger side below the battery box. If the passenger side carpet gets damp then it's pluged (very common). Another indicator is after running the AC on a hot day (what else), there is no water dripping (condensation), from the passenger side firewall after shuting the car off.

I had a similar problem and found a pinched line under the battery.

Thanks for the fast response. I will check those items and let you know. James
