Did ya get your Corvette out for a nice ride today? ;shrug

We dropped the top on our Roadster this afternoon for a cruise and were heading to the Florida Keys later this week.

I love this time of the year!!! :upthumbs

I wish I could have gotten the vette out, for a while it was snowing up here in Indiana.

Got 6" of snow and snow drizzle here since last night. Only about 2' left on the ground, though! I am thoroughly sick of this, but highs in the '30s all next week.

1st prayer: Let me take the Vette out of the garage

2nd prayer: Let me turn off the HEAT!!!

Gas went from $2.07 to $2.26 since Friday
Premium is $2.39 gallon

Great timing, now that the nice "driving" weather is coming.

Funny how they can predict that gas will be going up another 25 to 50 cents a gallon by summer...Just when everybody uses more...:blow

Yeah, this economy is boomin' alright! BBBOOOOMMM!!!

Sorry to hear that. No snow here in Indy today, just another gray Indiana day. I had to work so I couldn't take my Annie out today but I did get her out on her birthday (3/18).

Where in Indiana are you located at? I am about 15 minutes from Notre Dame.

Actually planned on getting the C5 out, putting a Breathless air box on, aligning a body panel or two, fixing an air leak on the pass. side window, installing the hood seal(for that 20+ hp gain), shortening the shifter, and a few other DIY mods..
alas, it rained on and off all day.

Sun cleared up enough to take the family on a neighborhood walk before dark though.

(and btw, I did shorten the shifter and worked on that window. alas, window still leaks at interstate speeds)

Here in Bloomington it was pretty sunny all day. A little shade but not too bad. Wish I could have gotten my Vette out, but it is still up in storage. I am going back home this next weekend to rebuild the carb and replace the distributor. Then hopefully I can start her up and take her for a spin and maybe an extended leave from the garage for awhile. Don't worry, the temps will start warming up. We still have our dreams.

Dwayne - you're killing me. Still lots of melting snow, wet streets full of sand and salt. More snow this Wednesday. Continued use of winter meds.

Look at the bright side. They said there would be 2-4" of "wet" snow on the ground this morning, and it never happened. Hopefully, they'll be wrong about Wednesday as well. One already down for this week, one to go. ;)

I probably should be shot, but I had 4 laborers work working from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM Saturday at my place and Sunday I was almost completely worn out. I did drag my motorcycle out and get it detailed before a short spring ride, but the Corvette didn't get touched. Its pretty pitiful too as it has the previous weekend's bugs on the front and a week's worth of spring pollen and dust accumulated.

Snow! What's that? I saw some of that stuff about 5 years ago. I think on the weather channel. It's nice to be able to take 'er out whenever you want.

Even though it never rains in Calif. it rained like He-- here yesterday. But I'll get it out today between storms so I can sleep tonight.

Chuck, you seem... ah... tense.
Do you need to take out your frustrations by roughing someone in the corners or running them into the boards?
