As a new member, I really appreciate all the stuff I've been able to learn at the CAC. It's awesome to see so many people sharing their knowledge and expertise. I have discovered 2 minor problems with my '88 coupe that I'm hoping some of you out there may be able to help me with:

Problem #1: My driver's side power miror refuses to work. The passenger side works fine. Is there a seperate relay for the right and left?? What else could cause this?

Problem #2: My front cornering lights do not come on when I use the turn signals. The bulbs appear to be fine and the side blinkers work. The rears work when I use reverse so I'm wondering if there is a fuse I'm missing or something?

Any suggestion from those of you "in the know" would be most appreciated!!

Thanks!
Chuck

1. Try replacing the mirror switch in the center console. The part that selects which side to adjust goes bad. Mine actually fell apart when I removed it.

2. The cornering lights only come on when your headlights are on (at least in my 86). Have you tried your turnsignals at night?

1. Thanks Rich! I'll check out that switch....

2. Yes, I have tried the cornering lights when the headlights are on...no dice.
