2000 C-5 Coupe window leakand/or adjustment

I have a slight leak on the dirvers side door just to the rear of the front side of the seal right around the curved part that deverts the water down the front window seal; of the rubber drip trim or rail, any idea on what I should try first? :confused I guess I think that this may be just be a top adjustment or something on the latches. Is there any particular procedure for adjusting the latches on the front and the middle one in the rear of the removable roof panel? I also have the right side door window hitting slightly the clip (I think it is called the blow out clip) will a top adjustment take care of this. I dropped the origial roof panel so this is new and thought maybe I never got it adjusted right. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bill:w

Cool. Its in there. Not too hard to do. Just take your time and watch out for that little metal tab at the top of the window. If the window is too high or not tilted in enough it can hit this and chip the glass.

Thanks, do you think maybe it is a top adjustment and that is why the blow out clip just nicks the glass on the left side and the right side has a slight leak! I did replace the top because I dropped the original and broke it. So I installed a new fiberglass painted top.

Thanks,

I have both tops and the painted top is tighter to close. Check if the top is not seating correctly or sqeaking or rattling. If it is, then definetly adjust the top. There are major or minor top adjustments you can try. Test to see if that fixes it. If not then I would adjust the windows. Tilt in the one that is touching the blowout clip and raise the passenger window a tad and see if that on too needs to be tilted in. Use very small adjustments and take your time. Use a garden hose to check for leaks. Don't blast the water just let it run straight from the hose without a nozzle. .

Thanks for the info; and I will check all of this out when I get it back out again, the top never leaked on the drivers side or hit the blow-out clip on the passenger side until I put the new top on this last year.Maybe it just needs some tweaking.

Thanks again,
