Somehow wrangled a solo stroll up to Cloudland, Ga. Saturday to attend the Wedding of the Century. My ride turned 61K and is just loosening up. The occasional job commute doesn't bring out the nature of the beast. The straights and curves this weekend certainly did!

She's just an LT-1 A4, lurking harmless in the 1500 rpm range until the call of duty lunging past the campers and Mercury Marquis, getting small in the mirror quick fast and in a hurry. Then down to a rumbling cruise through the small towns watching them watch me....

24 MPG flogged whenever appropriate. This car is garage decor most of the time. Just reminded me why it's in there to begin with, and why it's worth all the trouble and expense. It's the !!!! in an otherwise normally punctuated life.

Vette on yourself brother Tlong! I am always looking for excuses to take a road trip and use the back roads. My vette is the best therapy I could get!

Now take a road trip to Conyers this weekend for a BBQ....:)

Len:w

Thanks Len, you are certainly a glutton for punishment. Is the blender tuned up? Garage all clean? Neighbors notified?

Ah Conyers... now that's a road trip. It's the return voyage that holds the adventure. My DD last time grew weary of 'come on, punch it!!!!'

Plans are to work on the house this weekend. But if the plans change I'll be there.
