2002 auto transmission leak?

I recently purchased an 02 vette with the auto transmission. My garage floor gets 2-3 drops of oil each time I drive it. someone mentioned a clogged port of some kind. this car has 13,000 miles on it and it appears to have "caked" oil on the left side of the transmission, with oil blowing onto the left side exhaust. Does this sound like a normal thing? I read where someone said a few drops is normal, but that doesn't make any sense to me. Any ideas? Thanks.

Knock on wood but mine doesn't leak a drop!

You do have a problem. if you we're to look in the owners manual the only reason to check the transmission is if there is a LEAK..It also says to take it to your dealer ASAP.
