If the udders were clogged and the wiper motor was soaked, then letting it dry out thoroughly may fix it. If that wasn't the issue then the column wiper switch or the park switch in the wiper motor could be bad. This will require the Factory shop manual for proper diagnosis, so as to not just shot gun it with parts. Anything aftermarket electrically should also be considered a possibility, disconnecting them and re-testing would be necessary. Good luck with it. :)

Your post on the other forum about the problem acting up after the dealership washing your vehicle led me to follow up with this:

The sequence of events does sound like a possibility of water bridging the circuit board in the wiper motor, dry it out completely and recheck. Another thing to try is the wiper switch, with the ignition switch in the on position, cycle the wiper switch back and forth from off to high speed with fairly quick motions multiple times and see if it changes anything. Good luck with it.

How hard is it to replace wiper switch yourself.Are there any pics of removal of and installation.
