I'll give it extra points for being a Vette, though. However, I always thought mat black cars looked like they were in the middle of a restoration or body work. The mat finish always reminds me of primer.

Got a quick look at a small 4 door in black yesterday. It was smooth all over. Not a spray can job. Not bad.
