I'm having problems with my '03, the right side of my seat back seems to "give way and slip back a notch or two" while driving or if I reach into the trunck area. Is anyone having this same problem? My dealer has looked at it 6 times and keeps saying "can't duplicate the problem" so nothing every gets done.

Appreciate anyone commenting on the same problem, maybe what your resolution was would help me.

You bet. There's a Service Bulletin all about it.

Ken Robb also wrote a nice article on how to fix it yourself. When I find it, I'll forward the link.
Trigger Creep, thanks for the info. I see that the tech bulletin is specific to 1997-2002 models, mine is a 2003. Not sure if it is the same problem, looks like you have the same model as me, '03 50th AE, have you seen the same problem?

I have been having that same problem on my '03 for about 1.5 year now. Same as you took it to the dealer (only once so far) & they can't duplicate. It does get annoying after awhile. Seat rocks a little from time to time.

I am having a similar problem with the passenger seat. The left side of the seat back seems slips back a notch or two. I haven't taken it to the dealer yet.

Make sure that you have no pressure on the seat back when you release the seat back adjustment handle. Let the seat back adjustment mechanism get correctly into place before you lean back on the seat. I can generate the problem that you describe, and careful adjustment seems to take care of it. Also, use the handle on the top of the seat back to access the space behind the seat. Try that and see if it helps.
