Drivers side and interior mirrors have a little vibration. Where is the adjustment for these located so I can tighten them up? Does it require a special tool?

Barry,
Please be a bit more specific. Do you want to tighten up the mounting for the outside mirrors??
If so, do the following:
a) Lower window all the way
b) Remove the door panel
c) Remove the screws mounting the radio speaker
d) Remove the mirror nut access plugs (two square looking covers)
e) Tighten up nuts on mirror studs

Manual does not specify any special tools.

Good luck! Let us know if you need anything else.

Hi
I am wondering if it could be a wheel out of balance if on the road at speed, I do notice my inside rearview mirror vibrates at idle with air on. Just an idea before one goes to removing door panels and such.

On the driver's side mirror, the mounting is OK. The mirror itself seems loose as if there's a little too much "play" in the internal mirror assembly. On some other cars, there's an allen head set screw that can tighten this up, I just can't seem to find it on the Corvette.

On the inside mirror, it just seems a little loose and on my Ram pickup I just tighten a screw on the mount to correct things, but the Corvette doesn't seem to have such an arrangement.

are you sure its not just the bass from your speakers. The bass from my speakers rattle the mirrors. i think its normal.

My mirrors vibrate a little also from the bass. Same thing from my brother's '97. I think that's normal.

That's how I can tell when the music is loud enough!
