Road Noise

Thanks for another great article Hib.

I have a question about the suspensions. Will a coup equipped with the Z51 suspension ride as quietly as a coup with a standard suspension?

Thanks,

Wayne:cool

C6 XM radio antenna location

Any idea where they put the antenna for the XM radio and Onstar andwhat it looks like on the new C6? They are always very "large" looking.

Hard to say until we know a little more about the two different Goodyear tires and I ride each of the two cars.

I still want performance numbers. :cry

Rob is going to post a much-revised version of our C6 intro article perhaps later tonight or tomorrow. It includes some performance numbers but not all that really are necessary. Plus they are Gm-supplied. I'm tryin', people, in-spite of Chevrolet's road blocks.

Also, the initial version of the story, which at this point is still up, contains a pretty significant error in the part covering the keyless entry. The system neither opens the doors nor starts the car as I state in that story. The revision has the correct information. At the 12/18 media event, upon listening to someone talk about the system, I gained the mistaken impression it functioned like that. Further research, proves it does not. Sorry 'bout the screw-up.

I know you are trying, I am just inpatient. :D
