Just earned my first Corvette 2007 C6

Much to my dissmay a few of my friends feel they should get a ride in it.
I explain it took me 45 years to get my affairs in order ,GET YOUR OWN THIS IS A PRIVILEGE.
P.S. I hope to go up in years next year ( will 15000.00 get it done?)

Awesome site

Welcome .Glad ya got a reward for hard work.

I've tried to master the art of moving up in years .Patients is key ,sell high ,buy low.:D

:welcome

Go ahead and give them a ride in the Vette. For most of them, a ride is all they will every get in a Vette as their lifestyles may never allow them to buy one.

You can also remind them that the Vette is a 'closet' economy car since the C6's generally get 19-20 in town and 29-30 on the highway!

Welcome to the CAC Lloyd from a couple of other '07's. :w

Hi, Lloyd! Welcome to the CAC! I believe you will have a great time here! :upthumbs

WHILE DRIVING YOUR 07, PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO SAVE THE :w!

2007 for a first Corvette is great. :w Depends on what yours will bring and what options you want on the newer one to meet your price. Have fun in your search.

Welcome Lloyd!

Many congratulations on your first Vette! I also waited about 40 years to buy mine - a red 2007 coupe, LT3, Navigation, and pretty much every other option available. I can confirm 30 mpg on the highway and the urge for more power... I'm starting to look at superchargers! It's also great to see all of the waves from other Vette owners - thanks to all! The main thing is... HAVE FUN!

Lloyd,

Welcome! And why not give your friends a ride?? Let them know how cool it is! :happyanim: Just don't let them drive.

You know what I suggest? Just enjoy the Corvette you have now. Don't rush into something else. Savor the wheels you are driving and which you clearly have earned! Have fun...

Same here on the first vett. Got an 07 4LT MR vett with 5K on it. Got it from the great guys at Mike's in Plymouth. Took me 50 plus for my first one. Traded the Harley and have not looked back. Going to decide next year to mod it or wait for a used C7.
