Ford unveiled the 2011 Ford Edge at the Chicago Auto Show, which is Ford's first application of the much talked about 2.0L EcoBoost engine. It looks like the Edge will not be the only vehicle getting the new engine for 2011. During Ford's press conference it was confirmed that the new unibody 2011 Ford Explorer will also be available with the EcoBoost 4-cyl engine when it is released by the end of the year.
Ford has yet to provide any horsepower numbers for the 2.0L EcoBoost, but Ford claims it will have the performance feel of a V6.
