315 rear tires

Has anyone tried Sumitomo tires on their ZR-1? I need new ones and the price is the lowest I've seen. Any feedback would be appreciated.:cool

I have a set on the rear of my Z. They grip pretty good all around. But they do wear fast. That's their biggest drawback. They are much quieter than the GSCs that were on the car. If they would make the new HTR Z II in 315. For the price I don't think you will find a better tire.

I just bought a set for my '90. Hard to beat the TireRack price of $149 ea.

I put a set on the first of the summer nice and quite good ride..but I'm sure I'll go through two sets on the rear before I need fronts

I run them on all four corners and they seem to work well. I don't put many miles on my street tires so most of the time my tires get hard before they wear out. Because of that I'm not worried about them wearing out prematurely. That being said - 3k miles and they seem fine, even with my race aligment on the car full time.
