40 BCM Code

I have a history and current 40 BCM B2597 Traction Control System Switch Circuit code. Is this a code that needs immediate attention?

HI there,
This is basically a code that tells you there is a problem with your traction control switch circuit.
Have you pushed the swich down for more then 10 seconds, this code could set.
Or if the wiring is pinched under the center console..
Is it H or C??

C4C5, Don't you have to hold the Traction Control button down to go into Competition mode?

c4c5, the code is both an H and C. When I first bought the car about three months ago I put it in competition mode as I was exploring the car's options. I have cleared the code. Should I just keep an eye out for the code to reappear?
