Someone mentioned that they thought the bodywork bill alone was well over 200k :eek I would imagine the motor, suspension, etc quickly made up the rest ;)

From what I understand, Reeves thought the car ought to be priced higher than is currently is - being one of a kind and all :m

...for $189.00 you can buy this one ;)

That car is raw power and style ;worship

What would a one off super Lambo go for?? I think it is properly priced (and might even agree with Reeves), just way out of my personal price point.

BTW, Have you seen its performance numbers according to Stan?
0-60=3.2 sec, 0-100=6.1 sec

The Sledgehammer by comparison is 0-60=3.1 sec, 0-100=6.1 sec

but for that $$$$ you could almost get 3 lingenfelter twin turbo C5's. I guess I would rather have one( or 3) of them.

EDIT: then again one would get tons more looks in that. I guess it would depend what i gelt like getting at the time

Interesting comparo - I can see how since both are TT's, they could be comared to a point but really they are for two different target groups.

A few weeks ago, I saw an LPE TT - the Yellow one from Motor Trend Magazine - looked Bone Stock other than the wheels and a few decals on the doors.

i dont know if any of you remember the article in Motor Trend where they compared the LTT to the Blue Angel figher jet.

i would take that TT, and just add some body mods to it to make it stand out.

You are on a forum where we live and breath twin turbo Vette's - of course we pay attention to the other guy's products ;)

I was talking to a guy at a Vette show (From MD) and he is on his 3rd LPE TT engine variation - never satisfied I suppose... Anyways, He added the LPE Bodywork (Silver) a while ago as well.
I would have to think he is quickly nearing the asking price of the Callaway C7 for sale and could certainly have had Callaway TT 89-010 and then have an even nastier car :D

Now, you are taking notes on all this for your future Callaway, right ;)

-enjoy :m

heck yeah this is all going in for my future ownership, if i didn't want one I wouldn't belong to this forum.

my dream would be to have a TT(probably Callaway), a stock one, and a daily driver(beater)

yes, if my "dream" house/ garage combo comes true the house will be the size of the garage and the garage the size of a normal house. i know it sound extreme, but I have to dream big and hope most or some of it comes true

CorvetteCrazy, swapping the size of the house with the garage is an admirable goal but not a practical one.

I have a 3 car garage + a 3 car carport. We have 6 vehicles in our household now and I have had the #2 spot for a Chevy SSR (since Jan 01) which is due in Oct/Nov. I brought up the SSR to my other-half the other day and nearly ended up in the dog-house (as I was supposed to add a screen enclosure to the pool). Oh well, I know MY priorities... :-)

What scale is that model?

For 189.00, I would hope the hood vents could be a tad bit more detailed.

Is that your model 89X2?

Rob - that is for the one of a kind Speedster LM Bodywork (I heard over 200k just for that alone - before paint :eek )
And then the TT LT5:upthumbs

Wish she was in my garage :m

Like i said.. to much!!! :) sorry... I don't see how that body work could cost $200,000 I think the lambo body is all carbon fiber and you can get one of those for like 250,000 300,000....

But you wouldn't have a car that is "one of a kind" :m

That car must be a wild ride - head turning??? How about neck snapping when it goes by:Steer
FWIW, The SuperSpeedster without the roof has a thoretical top speed of 300mph < I suppose it is drag limited without a roof :v
