As many of you know I had the intake off of my 90 to fix the valley oil leak. At the same time I had two bad injectors, which I replaced. I also have an issue with the auxillary fan not coming on. I did a quick fix by setting up a ground jumper on the relay and let it run as soon as the ignition is turned on. I will do a proper fix on that later.
Everything went very well. It looks as though the oil leak is gone and it runs much better. About a month ago I also removed the radiator and did some house cleaning on the fins of it and the condensor. I drove through Iowa at about 78 mph in 96 deg temps with almost that for humidity and the temp gauge stayed put in the middle , never moved even in slow city traffic. At one point we stopped at a rest area and I opened the hood to check the oil and the heat under the hood didn't seem that high. I didn't even toast my arms checking the oil.

All in all I was pleased not to have any issues on the trip. My experience in the past has been that you need to pray a lot when hitting the open road after any major repairs.
I wonder what was keeping Murphy busy .:L
