Does any one know where I might find a distributer with the geared tachometer drive for this '54?

One on e-bay right now that needs some repair, but salvageable. I think it is bid at about $ 325. Search 1954 Corvette and it will show up.

A good used distributor will cost you about $800.00+. NOS?? never seen one for sale. Also, you have the issue of the date stamp on the breaker plate IF judging is of concern to you. They're dated, A4=January, 54, and so on. There are also service replacements dated, let's say A8=January 58.

They're a 2-3 year item....6 cylinder Corvette only, and there are no "interchanges". You could try the usual dealers, Werner Grossmueller, Mary Jo Rohner, Ron Jones, Carl Morrow. Chuck
