I like the idea of a 60% increase in horsepower! I'm definitely getting a supercharger... It may end up being in the 2nd phase of the upgrades, I'll have to see how far I can get off the initial 6 grand.

I contacted Jim to see how far he thinks I can get. I'm getting excited! :)

well, the no bull story would be: Leave engine alone and supercharge it. Use a ATI/Procharger kit so you will have an intercooler due to your compression. Any exhaust mods will be a plus.Car will still be normal until WOT giving you the best of both worlds..It would be a full kit so anyone should be able to intall.. We are buried until May/June-04.....jim/jimsperf

As for the shocks, Jeffvette is right, you can get them revalved By Bilstein for $55/ea and it is well worth it. Do get the Moracca valving if you plan on doing any road racing or autocrossing. The valving on the shocks however are across the board. If you want to change the valving settings on your FX-3, you need to get a new FX-3 controller prom with a new chip. That is what changes the Sport to Tour and Performance to Sport settings. The new Performance setting no longer is controlled by speed.

If I were you, I would check out the Northern Virginia Corvette Club (www.nvcorvetteclub.com). I was the VP there for 2 years and was very active in that club. They are very much into autocrossing and road racing and have some of the best drivers on the entire east coast.

Anyway, good luck with whatever decision you make...

Mike
