6 speed conversion

I am new to the vette world and also this site. I have talked with numerous people as to a 6 speed swap, however some make it sound easy and some say it is not worth the effort. Has anyone done this swap using 89-96 parts and can tell me where to go for info and to possibly have it done? I live in Connecticut. I am planning this to be a 350 with a blower. I have also been told that the 4+3 will hold up to this power. Is that true? Any info will help. Thanks.

Oh man, where do I start? I know! Try running a search for "6-speeds" or "Doug Nash" and you will find many, many threads dealing with both the transmission itself and the requirements to swap to a 6-speed, be it a ZF or a ROD. We've discussed this at length and some of us have done it. I have a Richmond Overdrive (ROD) 6-Speed in my '87. :cool
