I have a 63 vette with Air Condition, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Automatic, and Leather seats. Have been told the car is rare because of the Air (only 278). Would like to know just how rare. Is there any way to find the production Numbers?

Welcome to the :CAC

There are no published numbers related to determining how many of a combination of options were built. For example, there's no way that I know of telling how many cars with A/C, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Automatic, and leather seats were built.

However, this info may interest you - Corvette Action Center | Model Center | C2 | 1963 | 1963 Corvette Options and Production

Noland Adams second book STATE OF THE ART RESTORATION VOL 2 has 199 cars in 1963 had air conditioning. He also told us all in person at NCRS meets in the late 80's that 99 were convertibles and 100 were coupes. Interesting that now the count has grown to 278. Mike Antonick needs to come forward and answer this. I would love to see Mike and his sources for all his BLACK BOOK efforts overe the years.

Thanks for the Info. Strange how the number has changed. Have always heard that 278 was the number, and it was correct.
I will make preperations to obtain Vol 2. Thanks for the reply.

Whether it was 199 or 278 I suspect at least half had Powerglide, power steering and power brakes. Back then A/C customers didn't want to drag, they wanted a comfortable boulevard touring car with great looks and handling, and they got it.
