- 88 Convert ( SOLD ) /1973 coupe 4 speed/1964 Vert!
1) The two output yokes in the differential SHOULD have a C clip holding the yolks captive into the diff.... correct?
2) Is the battery hold down clamp a generic pep boys style replacement.. or is it Corvette specific ( I assume NCRS judges take points off for bungie cords!!!)
3) Hurst shift linkage.. IN a NORMAL vette you have to lift a T lever to get the linkage over to engage reverse... is there NO lockout in the Hurst.. I do not see any levers.. the stick does not move up & down... ( and I have to find a replacement chunk of the linkage.. the rod that actually pushes/pulls the reverse lever on the tranny..Mines missing!!!!) How do you engage reverse in a NORMAL hurst setup?
