65 exhaust manifolds

Do the exhaust manifolds have casting dates? I believe my casting numbers (left 3846563 & right 3797902) are correct but to the left of each is a casting number that is configured like a date. If these are casting dates, then I've got the right part but wrong date. Please advise. -- Bill

interesting question because in the '65 TIM&JG they mention "no visible casting dates appear on original exhaust manifolds" but on the very next page they have a chart listing exhaust manifold casting codes by month and give a month code for the casting letter.
