65 Power Antenna

Which vendor has the best reproduction power antenna for a 1965 vette?
Does it go all the way down like the original and how is the antenna tip compared to the original?

Yep, true. My '65 has the original power antenna and fully retracted it does not go all the way down.
The repro ones are easily identified as I haven't found a single one that has even close to the proper looking tip as the originals

Try LICS, I tried having mine repaired, the mast was broken I forget who could repair but they wanted $500, but LICS replacememt it's a good service replacement and it was ~$200.

Thanks Guys, I had forgotten that the antenna didn't go all the way down.
Back in 1967 my original quit working, the dealer installed 6 of them and they all
malfunctioned for one reason or another. I wish I had those 6 now. I finally
installed one from Radio Shack.
