Left the door open overnight on my 67 327/250 and battery died. Jumped it to start it. It took 2 or 3 minutes of turning the car over for it to start. Now seems to be idling very rough and pings significantly at high RPMs. Anyone have any thoughts? Appreciate your help.

Well, first off here djudge, a Welcome is in order. 
It has been WAY too long since I messed around with vintage engines, but something has definitely caused a problem there. Hopefully someone will stop by here pretty soon to help you troubleshoot the issue.

I don't see how the two are related. If you still have the original points ignition low voltage shouldn't be a problem as long as you can get it started. An electronic ignition would require a full 12 volts to operate correctly. It sounds like your distributor may have slipped. Check to see if you can turn your distributor by hand. The clamp may be loose. In any case, start by checking the timing.
