I have a set of wheels on my 67. They are 15'' x 6.9" . The letters "DC" are stamped next to the valve stem hole and "gm" and "kh" in smaller letter on the rim. Are these original wheels? If not does anyone know where they come from? I also have 2 wheels that are 15" x 8.1". The letters "k18 9" and '21 ag" are stamped around the valve stem and "gm" and "ki" are also stamped on the rim. Does anyone know where they come from? JK john.kern@ngc.com

The wheels stamped DC are 6" wide, not 6.9".

The KH means Kelsey-Hayes, the supplier of the wheels for GM. DC coded wheels, with a different part number, were also used on full-sized passenger cars and wagons 1967 - 1973.

my notes say.........

AG = '68 vette 7", - .3 offset
AZ = '69 - '82 8", - .5 offset

DC = '67 vette 6", + .06 offset
FI = the same wheel as above but post 67

Wheel width is measured from inside-to-inside of the rim flange, not outside-to-outside; that's why your wheels didn't measure 6" and 7" wide.
